3D CHESS SET
To acquire a working model of The Tower: 3D chess set, I need to raise $8,000 to $10,000 dollars; a company called RPDG (Rapid Product Development Group, Inc.) has agreed to manufacture the model for me, but I needed help raising the funds.
The Tower: 3D Chess Set is the quintessential three dimensional multilevel chess set. For a long time now there have been many attempts to design a practical 3D chess set. Well, the Tower: 3D chess set is that set! Why, is the tower: 3D Chess Set the chess set? What makes the Tower: 3D chess set different than prior art 3D chess sets? Well, I tell you; for one the Tower: 3D chess set is not a chess game, it is a device for playing 3D chess. The Tower isn’t govern by any rule set, and it has no pieces. Prior art 3D chess sets you could only play by their rules, you wanted to explore another variant of chess you would have to go out and buy another set, or downloads another program. The Tower isn’t a CGI program, but an actual physical set, a set that you could displayed in your school, club, living room, or den. The Tower has 17 independent pieces (a base, eight arms and eight platforms) these 17 pieces fit together through a patented design of dowels and sockets to form a tower of eight levels. Unlike prior art 3D chess sets; which over compensated in with their designs and created sets with large gaps between levels and pieces -- so as to make the pieces and levels more accessible. The Tower: 3D chess sets’ levels and tiers were designed to rotate and revolves 360` in either direction, passing a bare millimeter above the tallest game piece – the King. Many prior art chess set were designed to play only one game, there game! But the Tower: 3D chess set was design to play a variety of chess variants – how, by simply removing the levels and boards you don’t need, or adding the level and boards you do. The Towers’ patented socket design allow for no tools or complicated assembly instructions to build, just lift off the unwanted parts. e.g. What if and your friend wanted to play, say – Raumschach, you simply remove three of the levels and add the appropriate chessboard; or what if the two of you wanted to try your hands at Tri - Dimensional Chess, or even Dragon Chess, all you have to do is add or remove the unwanted levels (arms and platforms) and add the appropriate boards and pieces.
